Jorge, I want to use the portfolio-2-columns as the final page
I renamed to "reviews" the path in the views. So I got all the blocks showing up in the right side bar. Went to blocks and set the secondary items to hide from that page. The sidebar is there empty.
What am I missing?

Go for the file sites/all/themes/slash/templates/page--portfolio-2-columns.tpl.php and rename it to it your new name "page--reviews.tpl.php"
Then go to Admin -> Config -> Performance and clear all the Caches.
