Main menu Submenu items problem

Hi Jorge,

main menu

in one of the main menu items I have a drop down menu with some links.

one of the drop down menu links has child links

Products
link1
link2
link3 > link3a
link3b
link3c

in the settings of link3 I have to put something as path (and i put <front> as I don't have a page for this)

but this causes two issues:

1) Desktop: if you hover the link3 you get the child links and it is ok, however the father is still clickable...
2) On the iPhone there is a problem because you have to click on it, and I am not able to see the childs because it brings to home

Any idea to solve this?

Hi Sasha:

Hi Sasha:

Just poing Link3 to a Major page that is not the front. You can even use the same page as the first of it´s childs, lets say "Link3a".

Now, the iPhone issue is because Bootstrap developers say there is no need to use second level submenus in mobile phones, so they cut the second level events :(

Best!!

Hmm, I see.

Hmm, I see.
I have a list of reviews on some products.
One solution then could be to create a basic page with some text and all the links there. Can I create a menu and place that menu in the body of the page?

Need something that fits on the mobile.

Based on your experience, which is the suggestion?

Hi there Sasha:

Hi there Sasha:

You could try adding some other menus, but you will need to customize them using CSS.

Thing is that Bootstrap 2.3 only supports second level submenus. Anyway, there are some workaround you may consider:

http://imdev.in/twitter-bootstrap-multi-level-dropdown-menu-system/
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9758587/twitter-bootstrap-multilevel-...

But I still prefeer to addapt the information architecture to a 2 level navigation.

Best!!
